“PLEASURE PLANET” was conceived as an X-rated tribute to the classic sci-fi films of the 1950s, EC science fiction comics, and the naughty adult-space-opera-blue-movies like “Flesh Gordon” and “Barberella”. I set out to create a tale with under currents of ecocide, colonialism and capitalism, thinly disguised with a cartoon four-color face, partially inspired by the pandemic. My third self-published comic, its core is the theme of anti-patriarchy like “Mean Girls Club” and “Frog Wife” before it.
