“The King’s Teacup at Rest” illustration
My first illustration for the New Yorker magazine from 2016! This was from the fiction section of the July 11 & 18, 2016 issue for a story by Michael Andreasen. The artwork was created with gouache and colored pencil, is signed, and measures 11 x 14.5 inches. The title treatment was executed on different layers so the artwork remains purely visual. The title layers as well as a signed copy of the issue it appears in will be included.
